Remains of German soldiers who fell during the Second World War in the Netherlands and were buried here anonymously, may recently be buried with a short ceremony at the German military cemetery in Ysselsteyn. Until recently, the burials at the German military cemetery in Limburg were quiet and without any ceremony, without the presence of survivors.

Meanwhile, the time is ripe for a change in the attitude of the German war victims, but with respect for the feelings of the Dutch, who have experienced the war.
